List of Navasakam beneficiaries to be displayed: Collector R Muthyala Raju

Eluru: The beneficiaries identified under Navasakam survey can verify their names in the lists to be displayed at Grama Sabhas. District Collector R Muthyala Raju instructed the officials to make the lists available for the people to seek corrections and objections.

At a videoconference convened with district, divisional and mandal officials, the District Collector warned them of stringent action if any eligible person missed or ineligible persons find place in the lists. Those responsible for such lapses should not be spared, he warned.

Collector Raju reviewed works relating to land acquisition for issue of house sites, Rythu Bharosa and other programmes at the videoconference. He informed the officials concerned that land acquisition for issuing house sites would be taken up as priority activity during the next two months.

He ordered the officials not to allow vehicles for sand transportation without GPS system. Stating that so far, owners of 313 vehicles have arranged the GPS system to their vehicles, he asked the officials to ensure other owners of vehicles should also equip their vehicles with the system.

Under Swachh Bharat, the left over category toilets sanctioned to about 33,000 beneficiaries should be completed by January 15, he ordered.
