1. Students lose chance to apply for LLM and enrol in AP Bar Council
2. Exam branch wing alleges IT firm is delaying preparation of marks list

Tirupati: For the last 7 months, more than 1,500 LLB students of the Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) and its affiliate colleges are waiting for instant and supplementary exam results.

Due to delay in declaration of results, some of the students lost their chance to appear for LLM course in 2018-19 academic year. Few more final year LLB students did not get an opportunity to enrol in the AP Bar Council.

According to information, LLB students have appeared for final year, second and fourth semester exams in August 2018. Two months ago, varsity exam wing officials said evaluation of exam papers was completed. The compilation and generation of marks list was pending with an IT company called Bharath IT Innovations.

In October 2018, the then varsity V-C Damodaram stepped down from his post and left for Hyderabad. Since then, no official did not look into the issue and try to resolve it. Students were caught in the blame game of exam branch wing and IT firm. The exam branch consciously slow down the paper evaluation after student organisations staged agitation against the IT company.

When The Hans India brought the issue to the notice of the SVU Rector Prof G Janaki Ramaiah, he assured to look into the matter. He admitted that announcement of exam results was delayed because of technical problems.
