The State Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition here organised a training programme for its students on making of ‘Pot Idli’ on Tuesday.

Tirupati: The State Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition here organised a training programme for its students on making of 'Pot Idli' on Tuesday. In this programme, Chef Sethuraman imparted training on making various types of idlis in a traditional way.

The Pot Idli theme preparation also include Carrot Idli, Butta Idli, Tatta Idli, Masala Idli, Jackfruit Idli and steps to serve them after garnishing them tastefully are taught.

Speaking on the occasion, the Principal of the Institute V Giri Babu said that by using clay pots in cooking nutritional values can be procured which are good to the health. Chefs P Mohan, N Sivarama Krishna Chowdary, teaching and non-teaching staff, students and others also participated.
