Man raped a 10-year-old girl in Chittoor district
Before forgetting the incident of Varshita rape and murder case in Chittoor district, in another incident, a 10-year-old girl was raped by a man at Chenathanagar in Kurabalakota mandal of Chittoor district.

A girl (10) of a village in Pattegadda panchayat at Kalikiri mandal is studying sixth grade by staying at a government hostel in Pileru. Due to illness, she came to the house in the village two days ago.
On Saturday night, while the girl was playing near the temple in the village, a man Veerabhadraiah (25) approached her and took the girl on his bike. He has taken the girl to the isolated place, threatened and raped her.
Later dropped her near the temple and left the spot. On reaching home, the girl immediately informed her parents, where they lodged a complaint with Kalikiri police station on Sunday. Over receiving the information, the police registered a case under the POCSO Act and investigating further.
