Man who died of coronavirus came in contact with 100 people in Hyderabad

Karnataka man who died of coronavirus is learned to have come in contact with 100 people in Hyderabad. It is said that Siddique came in contact with 17 people at Care Hospital, where he was put on isolation for three hours and at least 100 at three other hospitals.

The 76-year-old man from Kalaburagi in Karnataka district succumbed while on his way to home from Hyderabad.

Siddique who has travelled back to his home from Saudi developed symptoms of coronavirus and admitted to a hospital in Gulbarga. However, he was shifted to a private hospital in Hyderabad for better treatment.

According to the state health authorities, around 34 people who came in contact with Siddique were traced so far. Besides 17 people at care hospitals including the nurses, doctors, security guards and ambulance staff, five others also came in contact with the patient at Apollo Hospitals Jubilee Hills, it is learned.
