Meet on concrete mixing organised in Rajamahendravaram

Rajamahendravaram: A one-day workshop on Concrete Mixing Proportionate was held in the premises of Godavari Institute of Engineering Technology (GIET) here on Monday. GIET civil engineering department and Ultra Tech of Aditya Birla Group jointly conducted the workshop.

Ultra Tech Regional Head K Venkat Raman briefed to the engineering students about the mixing percentage of cement, gravel, sand and water. He also said high quality cement should be used for the construction of multistoried buildings.

Head of the Civil Engineering Department Prof D Venkat, students and others were present on the occasion.
