Guntur: Principal Adviser to Chief Minister Ajeya Kallam said that those who do selfless service to the society were the real heroes.

He addressed a meeting held at Sri Venkateswara Vignan Kendram here on Sunday. At a programme held under the aegis of Kaundinya Educational Trust, he distributed Rs 18 lakh worth of scholarships to 600 poor merit students.

He urged the poor students to avail the financial assistance given by the Kaundinya Educational Trust to come up in life. Tobacco Board secretary Addanki Sridhar Babu said that the trust is encouraging merit poor students. Kaundinya Educational Trust chairman E V Narayana was also present.
