Aripaka Ramesh, a miniature artist made Lord Vinayaka’s idol along with laddu and rat which is kept in a hole of a needle with a measurement of 1mm height and 10 mgs of weight and also Lord Venkateswara crown with a measurement of 2.5 mm height and 10 mg on the eve of Brahmotsavams.

Kakinada: Aripaka Ramesh, a miniature artist made Lord Vinayaka's idol along with laddu and rat which is kept in a hole of a needle with a measurement of 1mm height and 10 mgs of weight and also Lord Venkateswara crown with a measurement of 2.5 mm height and 10 mg on the eve of Brahmotsavams.

He made these items with gold and people thronging to see these items as they are visible only in microscopic machine. Ramesh, who runs a mobile shop at Dusarlapudi Vari Street in Kakinada, made nearly 50 such articles.

His name was also entered in Book of State Records, Indian Book of Records, Wonder Book of Records and also stood first in Google Search in miniature wing. According to him, he is the first miniature artist by making such micro articles, which never seen in Indian Archeological History as these miniatures are very smaller than 'poppies.'

A miniature artist made 9 camels in one hole of a needle, but Ramesh Babu kept 16 miniature idols of Lord Shiva in different angles in a hole of a needle and created a record. His craftsmanship has earned him recognition in Book of State Records and Indian Book of Records.

He carved Shiva Linga, Vinayaka, Laddu in pin, Namalu-Sankhu Chakralu, Redeemer statue, 786 Ramzaan Moon, World Cup, Indian map, national flag, rupee symbol, Shiva Dhanassu, love symbol, Gowthama Buddha in a pin, mini-feet of Sripada Srivallabha and Panamatta Shivalinga at the end of needle.

He also made a golden Cycle as a presentation to TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu, a golden lotus for presentation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and a golden rocket symbol to greet ISRO scientists for their achievements.

He requested the government to set up a museum especially for miniature arts for exhibiting the Indian talents. He said that his ambition was to craft morethan 100 such micro miniatures and create a record in the micro miniature field.
