Minister Anil Kumar Yadav gives clarity over drone usage
The usage of the drone over Lingamaneni guest house has become a big controversy, where the Opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu has become serious on the government over his security.
Amaravati: The usage of the drone over Lingamaneni guest house has become a big controversy, where the Opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu has expressed anger over the incident.
However, Irrigation Minister Anil Kumar Yadav has given clarity over the drone usage on Chandrababu's residence, which is on the bank of Krishna river. He said that with the permission of the Irrigation department, the drone was used to capture the flood situation.
With the increase of floodwater, the inflow at Prakasam Barrage is raising steadily. In this context, the Minister said that it is the government's responsibility to provide protection to the people who live on Karakatta. Therefore, they have used the drone to assess the flood situation.
Anil Kumar Yadav criticised that TDP leaders are doing dramas to gain political mileage. He said they had long back said that Chandrababu's house would be sinking in case of any floods.
