Minor girl raped, impregnated in Visakhapatnam
In a gruesome incident, a minor girl was allegedly raped and impregnated by a man in Gopalapatnam at Visakhapatnam district.
Visakhapatnam: In a gruesome incident, a minor girl was allegedly raped and impregnated by a man in Gopalapatnam at Visakhapatnam district. This incident happened at Netaji Nagar near Gopalapatnam railway station.
The man allegedly lured the girl and impregnated her. In order to abort, he gave pills to the girl where she suffered bleeding. With this, he has taken the girl to the local hospital at Gopalapatnam where doctors referred to KGH here in the city. Later, the girl was shifted to KGH in 108.
The locals alleged that by using the influence, he had done abortion to the girl, and later he has hidden the girl and her mother. They also said he threatened the girls family members over giving the complaint.
On the other side, the doctors at Gopalapatnam hospital said that the girl who was brought to them was already four months pregnant and the man with the girl had the argument with them.
Usually, the 108, and KGH staff should inform the police as they suspect that the minor girl is pregnant. But nothing such incident has happened.
However, Gopalapatnam CI Ramaniah said that they had not received any complaint regarding the incident. He said the action would be taken if a complaint is registered.
