MLA inspects condition of roads in Guntur
West MLA Maddali Giridhar Rao on Tuesday visited SVN Colony and Nethaji Nagar in Guntur city and inspected condition of the roads.
Guntur: West MLA Maddali Giridhar Rao on Tuesday visited SVN Colony and Nethaji Nagar in Guntur city and inspected condition of the roads. He interacted with the locals and enquired about their problems.
Speaking on this occasion, he lashed out at the the State government for neglecting the development and added that the Guntur Municipal Corporation had failed to complete the underground drainage works on time, thereby, causing immense hardshps to the commuters. Roads were not properly restored where the UGD pipelines were laid. As a result, the people of the city are facing a lot of problems.
Continuing his tirade against the State government, he said that stagnation of rain water was causing the spread of viral fevers and infections, thereby, affecting the lives of the people.
He urged the officials concerned to take up repair works to roads and take steps immediately on a war footing to flush out the stagnant rain water from the road. He slammed Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for losing grip over the administration, which has come to a standstill.
