Visakhapatnam: Minister for Tourism, Culture and Youth Advancement Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao said on Friday that problems faced by the residents of fifth ward in Sagar Nagar will be resolved in six months.
As part of his visit to the ward, the Minister inspected the progress of various projects initiated in the colony, including drainage and drinking water facilities. Highlighting the benefits of Amma Vodi Scheme, he said that it would help curb the school dropout rate to a considerable extent.
Srinivasa Rao also urged the women to work towards improving their financial condition and enhance their livelihood. He was accompanied by GVMC Commissioner G Srijana and Zonal Commissioner Durga Prasad among others.
