Along with former ministers, MLAs, MLCs and other leaders boarded a bus and started his journey. He started at Venkatapalem and reach the place where Prime Minister Narendra Modi had laid foundation stone for the capital city.
Earlier, there is uproar from farmers of the capital as they have welcomed him with massive flexies questioning Chandrababu for deceiving them with graphical representation of Amaravati.
The farmers argued that most of the promises given by then TDP government have not fulfilled yet. They said Babu should render apologies before stepping into the capital.
Before embarking on the tour of the capital city, Chandrababu Naidu tweeted that he was touring the capital region to dispel the conspiracies to stall the construction of the capital city.
