Eluru: Joint Collector-2 N Tej Bharat has said people need not worry about the deadly Coronavirus which spread in China.
He convened a meeting with officials of medical and health department on Saturday night. He appealed to people not to believe in rumours doing rounds in social media relating to spread of the virus.
There is no possibility of the virus spreading here as at all airports, people returning from China have been thoroughly examined at the special wards and only allowed to go on confirmation that they did not carry any virus. If anybody suffering from the symptoms of the disease can approach authorities at hospitals as special wards were also arranged to treat such cases.
