Tourism minister Avanti Srinivas has said there is no permission to operate the private boat namely Royal Vasishta, which was drowned in Godavari river near Kucchunuru village of Devipatnam mandal of East Godavari district.
Rajamahendravaram: Tourism minister Avanti Srinivas has said there is no permission to operate the private boat namely Royal Vasishta, which was drowned in Godavari river near Kucchunuru village of Devipatnam mandal of East Godavari district.
He said the private operator Kodigundla Venkata Ramana was operating the boat. On the other hand, home Minister M Sucharita also inquired about the mishap and asked the SDRF and NDRF teams to speed up the rescue operations. The boat was drowned while heading towards tourist place of Papikondalu.
