Ongole: The Prakasam district collector Dr Pola Bhaskara ordered the officials to complete the registration of beneficiaries under the direct benefit transfer in electricity for farmers scheme by December 21.
He conducted a meeting with the Ongole revenue division officials in the Spandana meeting hall in Ongole on Tuesday.
The collector ordered the officials to make a success 'Manam- Mana Subratha' fortnightly programme scheduled to start from December 7 and ordered to organise various programmes to create awareness on public health. He ordered them to keep vigilance on Aarogyasri network hospitals to monitor the implementation and encourage the public to utilise the scheme. He instructed them to complete the registration and grounding process of Jagananna Thodu, YSR Cheyutha, YSR Bima, and YSR Asara schemes. He ordered them to organise awareness programmes on coronavirus for 50 days following the instructions of the Central government. The collector ordered the officials to allot housing plots by lottery, as the government wants to distribute the sites on December 25.
The collector expressed dissatisfaction over the functioning of electrical engineers in the district. He said that they were negligent in registering the beneficiaries for the DBT scheme. He enquired for the reasons behind the poor registration at Addanki rural, Kothapatnam, Ongole rural, Santhanuthalapadu, Chimakurthi, Maddipadu, Vetapalem, Martur, and other areas and warned them to change their attitude. He ordered them to complete the process by December 21 and made few suggestions.
JCs JV Murali, TS Chetan, in-charge JC K Krishnaveni, DRO Vinayakam, ZP CEO Kailash Giriswar, DPO Narayana Reddy, housing PD Sainath, DRDA PD PV Narayana, and others also participated in the programme.
