Ongole: Indian Navy conducts Sagar Kavach successfully

Ongole: The Indian Navy, Indian Coast Guard, State Maritime Police, Customs, Fisheries and other departments in the State jointly conducted a coastal security exercise, Operation Sagar Kavach to check the alertness of the forces at the coastal area for two days, Thursday and Friday.

The Prakasam District SP, Siddharth Kaushal made tight security arrangements in villages, important government offices, bus stands and railway stations alongside the coastal region of the district. This Sagar Kavach Costal Security Exercise was conducted throughout the coastal region of Andhra Pradesh for the two days.

The ARDSP, A Raghavendra Rao has been appointed as the nodal officer and SB II CI N Srikanth Babu as the monitoring officer of the Sagar Kavach bandobast.
