Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has once again demanded that the capital of Andhra Pradesh be remained at Amaravati. Pawan said 50 days had passed since the farmers and women had started hunger strikes and agitation against the proposal of three capitals. In a letter released through the party's Twitter handle on Wednesday, Pawan Kalyan lauded the people of Amaravati for continuing their protests for such a long time.

Pawan expressed his sorrow for the people and farmers who had given 33,000 acres of land to the government for the construction of the capital and coming onto roads to protect the capital. As part of this, Pawan has announced that he will tour the capital once again after the 10th of this month and asserted that he would take the agitation to national level.

The BJP-led central government, however, has concluded that the capital is entirely state's affair. Thereby, the state BJP has nothing to do except to make a party resolution against the government's decision. While Pawan Kalyan, the BJP's partner who has been repeatedly told that the capital will remain in Amravati is busy with a series of films. It remains to be seen how the Jana Sena supremo would hold agitation.
