Visakhapatnam: Assuring the fishermen of Dibbapalem and Gangavaram, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan said that he would take concrete steps to address a plethora of long-pending issues of the people residing in Gangavaram and help resolve them within three months.

Amid a huge gathering at Anakapalle, Pendurti and Gangavaram on Sunday, Pawan Kalyan said he would help settle the issues of the fisherfolk, including setting up of jetty, sanctioning of site for the local Goddess temple, putting an end to the pollution problem along with sanctioning of Rs.5,000 pension and supply of six LPG cylinders, among other benefits.

"If voted to power, I will see to it that the fishermen would resume fishing work. I am not bothered about money or fame. I want to serve the people and devise alternatives to improve their health which is gravely affected due to increased pollution levels," Pawan said.

He urged the voters to make the right choice in electing the next Chief Minister of the state who would strive to resolve their problems rather than neglecting their health and growth in all aspects. "People of North Andhra region remained neglected on all fronts. If given a chance, I would take bold steps to develop the region by empowering people.

I believe in giving importance to every caste equally and more so for the Relli community who does all the clean-up work but continue to remain backward for ages," he noted. Pointing out at the complaint of a resident, Pawan said the MLAs of the TDP government were keen on usurping the public property and urged the people to help him bring the required transformation in the system by voting for Jana Sena Party. In Anakapalle, Pawan said he would redevelop the constituency, tapping the tourism potential and creating 15,000 employment opportunities, giving preference to the local youth.
