People's satisfaction top priority: Collector

Eluru: R Muthyala Raju assumed charge as new Collector for West Godavari district here on Thursday. Prior to taking charge, he along with family members visited Dwaraka Tirumala for darshan of Lord Venkateswara.

After taking charge, he told the media that he would work for the satisfaction of people as the government was giving priority to solve people's problems. He sought cooperation of the staff as team work was necessary for development. As the district has all resources necessary for development, he would strive for overall development of the district.

The district machinery needs to work in tune with 'Navaratnalu' programme of the government. He announced that he would convene a grievance day for employees once every month to solve the problems faced by the employees.
