PG ECET top rankers become inspiration to many :Ongole

Ongole: About 10 students from Prakasam district from various branches performed well to become top 10 rankers in the PG ECET results released on Tuesday.

Most of the rankers are from poor and middle-class family background, but now become inspiration to many of them in the same conditions. Speaking to The Hans India, the rankers shared their happiness, thanked their parents and teachers and expressed ideas about their future.

Thumati Mahendra is the first ranker in the PG ECET in Electronics and Communications Engineering stream. He is from Chinapavani village in Lingasamudram mandal. He said that he completed his B Tech in Electronics and Communications Engineering at Lakireddy Balireddy College of Engineering in Mylavaram and now considering M Tech in Andhra University with specialization in VLSI. Mahendra, who is working as a teacher in Government Polytechnic College in Chandragiri said that he won't stop learning and will do Ph D after completion of his M Tech.

Araveeti Rambabu is the 10th ranker in the Electronics and Communications Engineering stream. Being from Peddaraveedu village and son of a farmer, Rambabu completed his graduation in ECE at IIIT Basar. He said that he is considering Andhra University or JNTU Kakinada for doing M Tech in VLSI and complete Ph D also. He said that his preparation for GATE helped him in scoring Rank 10 in the PG ECET. Damarla Ramesh Babu shared the 10th rank with Rambabu. A graduate in ECE from the SV University, Ramesh Babu said that his own preparation paid him well and he is also opting for VLSI in M Tech for a bright career.

The 2nd ranker in Mechanical Engineering stream is Shaik Shalem Saajan from Tangutur. An Acharya Nagarjuna University campus student in mechanical engineering, Saajan wants to join Andhra University campus for his M Tech in the Machine Design. Passionate about remote sensing technology, Vanukuri Siva Teja from Darsi scored 6th rank in Geo-Engineering and Geo-Informatics stream. He said he completed Civil Engineering from NBKR Institute of Technology and Sciences in Nellore. He said that he is choosing remote sensing in M Tech and may join Andhra University if his attempts to join BIT at Ranchi or IIRS are not successful.

Koti Jayakrishna, a native of Chirala, completed his B Pharmacy from Bapatla College of Pharmacy and scored 2nd rank in the PGECET. He said that he is preparing for entrance test of National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research scheduled for June 9. He is also having eyes on the seat in BITS and BHU. He is expecting that he need not use the 2nd rank in the PGECET for admission in the state. Bhyrapuneni Surekha is a student of Chebrolu Hanumaiah Institute of Pharmacy and Sciences in B Pharmacy and native of Vemparala village in Addanki mandal. She wants to complete M Tech in a good institute in the state and settle in the research area in the future.

Hailing from Sarvereddy Palem near Ongole, Mupparaju Kavya Sri completed engineering in Biotechnology from KL University. She achieved the 10th rank in Biotechnology stream and wants to do M Tech in food processing or biotechnology from reputed institutes of Andhra University or JNTU Kakinada. Chatla Siva Nagi Reddy from Singarayakonda completed B Tech in EEE from Gudlavalleru College of Engineering and scored 11th rank in PG ECET. He said that he wants to join M Tech in power electronics at Andhra University or JNTU Kakinada campus.
