Photo exhibition on Modi inaugurated in Kakinada
As part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday celebrations, the BJP arranged ‘Modi photo exhibition’ at Dantu Kalakshetram here on Tuesday.
Kakinada: As part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday celebrations, the BJP arranged 'Modi photo exhibition' at Dantu Kalakshetram here on Tuesday.
The BJP MLC, Somu Veerraju inaugurated the exhibition. He told reporters that Modi's birthday celebrations were being held from September 14 and last till September 20. In all village, mandal and district headquarters areas the BJP workers distributed fruits to old people and patients in government hospitals and also medical camps were being organized.
Speaking about the boat capsize incident, Veerraju said that the negligence of the officials was main reason for the tragedy. He said that the drivers who are not having knowledge on Godavari are driving the boats without curbs. The officials responsible to the tragedy should be punished to avoid such incidents in future. He condoled the death of former Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao.
The BJP district president, Y Malakondaiah, state Kisan Morcha president V Suryanarayana Raju, the party city president Ch Srinivas, corporator S Lakshmi Prasanna and others were present.
