Police in Tirumala are continuing their hunting to nab the touts who sell Srivari Darshan tickets in black market.

Tirumala: Police in Tirumala are continuing their hunting to nab the touts who sell Srivari Darshan tickets in black market. For the last two months, TTD vigilance department and hill shrine police are working in coordination to arrest the culprits.

As part of search operation police sent special teams to other districts and also to Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. Recently police arrested persons from Guntur and Prakasam districts in the sale of tickets in black market.

To prevent malpractices, Tirumala JEO office personnel are referring the recommendation letters to TTD vigilance sleuths for further probe, The touts produce fake letters from MLAs, MPs and IAS, IPS officers.

The vigilance officials arrested them and handed over to Tirumala police. On the basis of information provided by TTD vigilance sleuths, Tirumala police intensify their investigation.

Recently, one magazine journalist, LIC agent and pizza corner owner were arrested for having links with touts. And they were sent to judicial remand by the police. In one month police nabbed more than 21 touts for probe and collecting details about their network and other links with political persons.

Speaking to The Hans India Tirumal Two town CI Chandra Shekar said to The Hans India, ``We are continuing the hunt for touts who had been involved in the sale of Darshan tickets in black market.
