Prakasam police receive 100 petitions at Spandana

The Prakasam district police organised the Spandana, the grievance day in the district police office, along with the other police stations in the district on Monday
Ongole: The Prakasam district police organised the Spandana, the grievance day in the district police office, along with the other police stations in the district on Monday. The District Superintendent of Police Siddharth Kaushal received petitions from the public in his office and also directed the concerned officials for immediate action, through video conference.
People who cannot come to Ongole personally can participate in the programme through 'Online Spandana' video conference at their nearby police stations. The SP received 21 complaints in Online Spandana and 5 complaints in the 'Spandana Beyond Borders,' the programme to receive urges from non-resident Prakasam district people.
In the regular Spandana, the SP received 74 urges. The SP responded to a complaint from a soldier serving in Jammu and Kashmir received on Spandana Beyond Borders, and appointed the Ongole DSP as a special officer, to do justice by conducting an impartial investigation. He also appointed the DSP of Markapuram on a complaint from another soldier serving in Jabalpur complained about his land being grabbed.
Speaking on the occasion, the SP said that the complainants can speak face to face with him via video conference every Monday afternoon from 2:30 pm to 04.30 pm from any local police station without coming to the headquarters. He also informed that people with disabilities, elderly and people of Prakasam district living in any other place seeking legal assistance in Prakasam district can lodge their grievances via video conference without visiting any police station.
The SP also told that a special virtual room facility has been set up for video conferencing so that the complainants facilitated to convey their grievances only to the SP. For other details, the complainants can call on 9121104792 or leave a mail on [email protected] or contact any police officer in the Prakasam district to book a time slot to speak with the SP through video conference.
Additional SP B Ravi Chandra, OSD K Chowdeswari, SB 1 CI V Suryanarayana, inspector B Paparao, Command and Control inspector R Rambabu, IT Core SI K Ajay Kumar and others were also present.
