He addressed at the flagging off ceremony at Gudur railway station on Sunday and said the priority of railways is also drawn on ensuring optimal security of women rail passengers, punctuality of trains and curbing unauthorized rail travel which inconveniences genuine rail users, he added.

He addressed at the flagging off ceremony at Gudur railway station on Sunday and said the priority of railways is also drawn on ensuring optimal security of women rail passengers, punctuality of trains and curbing unauthorized rail travel which inconveniences genuine rail users, he added. He also said they have been giving priority for cleanliness in the Railways as part of Swacch Bharat.
Gajanan Mallya, General Manager, South Central Railway highlighted the achievements of SCR including the recognition earned in terms of receiving 4 efficiency shields in various operational spheres during the last financial year. The income of the zone has registered a growth of Rs.120 Cr up to July, he informed. He said SCR is speeding up of 100 train services, introduction of LHB coach rakes by 15 express trains and provision of free high-speed Wi-Fi services at 400 stations.
