Producing films, serials my ambition, says Nani

Vijayawada: "Life is God's gift. I lost everything in my childhood. I have seen many ups and downs in my life. With my family and sons' support I could reach this level," said Nandivada Seshu Lakshminarayana alias Nani.

Nani, a multi-dimensioned person, an actor, TV serial producer, dubbing artist, exhibitions designer, post production studio owner, was born in 1953 with golden spoon. Due to unforeseen circumstances the family lost everything in his childhood itself and started fighting with life.

At this time, Nani attracted to stage and started acting in Navodaya Natya Mandali and Gurajada Kala Mandir. He acted in many plays and playlets like Vishadam, Yugasandhya, Pavala and Kadalika.

Nani respects artiste and director Simhachalam and Modili Purushottama Patrudu as his theatre Guru and noted writer, director and artiste M Sanjeevi made him to become popular in drama field.

At this juncture, family responsibilities made him as an announcer to promote their products in exhibitions. Later, the same has become his business and become pioneer in that field.

Nani started "Madhuri Media Works" and started producing advertisement films and jingles for Radio and Doordarshan besides conducting exhibitions throughout Andhra Pradesh and also in Telangana. He produced a number of single episodes like 'O Tandri Katha', 'Aakali', 'Uttama Illalu', 'Mukku Pudaka', 'Swayamvaram' and 'Brathuku Theruvu'.

Nani also produced the TV serial 'Bala Ramayanam' which was directed by Giduturi Suryam. He was also associated in Himabindu serial production with Garapati Prasad. Gundu Hanumantha Rao, Achyut, Kadambari Kiran Kumar, Hrudaya Raj, VV Narayana Patrudu and Siva Parvati were introduced by Nani to television.

"I like to start an institute to give training in post-production work and also start a channel to produce films and serials in coming days," said Nani confidently.
