Hyderabad: Telangana Transport Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy has requested TTD chairman to provide special darshan tickets of the Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy to the pilgrims traveling to Tirumala on TSRTC buses.

He said that on an average of 10,000 devotees from Telangana are visiting Tirumala every day and more than 1,000 people are traveling to Tirumala in 32 TSRTC bus services daily.

On the occasion, Prashanth Reddy referred the TTD's special darshan tickets in view to promote public transport and tourism. He added that this benefit is available to the passengers who visit Tirumala in APSRTC buses and urged to extend this facility to even TSRTC passengers.

In this context, the Minister has written a letter and also made a phone call to the TTD chairman. He requested to provide 1,000 special darshan tickets every day to the devotees arriving Tirumala in TSRTC buses, and this system would be a benefit for both passengers and RTC.

Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy also conveyed special greetings to TTD chairman YV Subba Reddy who took over the new responsibilities and implementing innovative methods at Devasthanams.
