YSRCP MP Raghurama Krishnam Raju has filed a petition in the Andhra Pradesh High Court against the issuance of show-cause notices.
YSRCP MP Raghurama Krishnam Raju has filed a petition in the Andhra Pradesh High Court against the issuance of show-cause notices. He urged the High Court not to take any action on him over show cause notice until it is clear from the Election Commission. The petition referred to the Election Commission seeking clarification on Show cause notices as there is another party in the name of YSRCP. Also, the Member of Parliament asserted the High Court there is no disciplinary committee meeting constituted to take action against him.
Raghurama Krishnam Raju said that he was elected on behalf of the Yuvajana Rythu Shramik Congress Party. He said he was nowhere to be found in the anti-party activities. But the YSRCP claimed that the MPs were going to Delhi to file a disqualification petition for the same reason. Meanwhile, the High Court is hearing the emergency petitions, MP Raghurama Krishnam Raju's petition is likely to come for hearing on Monday. The latest developments have become interesting with MP moving High Court when YSRCP MPs were ready to lodge a complaint with the Lok Sabha Speaker.
YSRCP MPs and judges are expected to meet Speaker Om Birla on Friday to demand the disqualification of Raghurama Krishnam Raju as member of parliament. It is reported that MPs have been given a speaker appointment. MPs along with the legal experts are expected to meet the speaker in the afternoon on Friday.
On the other hand, Narasapuram MP wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressing his gratitude to the Center for the decision taken by the central government to extend the Garib Kalyan Yojana Scheme. With a farsighted administration decision, 80 crore pot would benefit. Raghurama Krishnam Raju wrote in the letter that history recognises Modi.
