Rajamahendravaram: MP Margani Bharat Ram has said that Rs 200 crore worth of proposals were sent to the government to make the historical city as a smart city. Steps were also taken to enhance the status of the corporation as Greater Rajamahendravaram, he said. He along with YSRCP leaders Barre Kondababu and Ajjarapu Vasu has visited 49th and 48th divisions to know the prevailing problems in the respective divisions.
The residents of the divisions asked the MP to initiate steps to develop the drainage system, streamline the drinking water supply, construction of community halls etc.
After hearing the problems from the people he assured to sort out them and said three days in a week he is concentrating in the city and visiting seven assembly constituencies in the remaining days. YSRCP leaders Routhu Suryaprakasa Rao, Bommana Raj Kumar and others accompanied the MP.
