MP Margani Bharat Ram has said the Central government gave its nod for a project with a cost of Rs 416 crore for saving River Godavari from pollution
Rajamahendravaram: MP Margani Bharat Ram has said the Central government gave its nod for a project with a cost of Rs 416 crore for saving River Godavari from pollution.
He discussed about the project with Union Minister of Water Resources Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in Delhi on Friday.
He said that the amount will be spent on the construction of five STP plants and underground drainage system in Rajamahendravaram.
He said that Union Ministry of Water Resources has already given directions to the respective departments in this regard.
Bharat said that Delhi Technological University submitted the Detailed Project Report relating to the project to National Reserve Conservative Board Directive. With this decks were cleared to start the project work immediately.
