Reckless driving lands smuggler in police net

A smuggler transporting red sanders logs in a four-wheeler zoomed past police vehicle at a high speed giving enough hint for police to suspect the vehicle. They chased and stopped the vehicle at Penumur crossroads.
The police nabbed smuggler Annamalai and seized red sanders logs and vehicle. The police registered a case and sent Annamalai to judicial remand, the ASP stated.
