The Experts Committee in its report submitted to the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday, at Tadepally camp office, said that electric vehicles can save fuel besides conservation of the environment and is more economical, informed the CM Office officials at Secretariat in a press release.

"To introduce a large number of electric vehicles in the RTC, Environment Conservation Treasure should be established and separate EV bonds should be issued. By taking loans at lower rates of interest from national and international organizations, electric vehicles can be brought in RTC as soon as possible so that fuel can be saved.", the report suggested.

The Report suggested using solar power instead of wind power. For this, at every possible place, solar panels should be established on the top of buildings.

The total amount saved in the RTC by using electric vehicles should be considered as money earned. The sum can be considered as subsidy at today's price. By this, loans can be taken at the low cost of interest.

Lord Venkateshwara's Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanams (TTD) all-time desires to conserve environment becomes true through the electric vehicles. The free diesel buses at Tirumala can be replaced with electric vehicles. "Charging points should be established at Alipiri and at Tirumala. For the same, the government should send instructions to TTD," the report said.

Required measures should be taken to provide infrastructure facilities for 350 vehicles in the corporation.
