Sai Trishakti donates books to library in Vijayawada
About 15,000 books were given to Ram Mohan Library, MG road, Vijayawada on Friday by Sai Trishakti Nilayam founder Dr K Atchi Reddy as part of social service and social responsibility.
Vijayawada: About 15,000 books were given to Ram Mohan Library, MG road, Vijayawada on Friday by Sai Trishakti Nilayam founder Dr K Atchi Reddy as part of social service and social responsibility.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that by reading books one will gain knowledge. Everyone should make a habit of reading books daily. Libraries are inexhaustible pieces of knowledge. Many have used libraries to achieve their goals in life, he said and added that history, geographical, economic, social, scientific, and spiritual books are given to the library which will help competitive exam aspirants.
He said that about 10 iron almirahs were also given to the library to preserve the books. About 2,000 books were given to Chukkavalasa Elementary School, Vizainagaram along with six almirahs. Library secretary Koteshwara Rao and committee members expressed their happiness on donating books and almirahs.
