Scorpio hits tree : Three killed on the spot, one injured
Three persons were killed on the spot, one person seriously injured when the Scorpio in which they were travelling hit the tree at Viratrajupalem village under Vinukonda mandal of Guntur district on the wee hours of Friday.

According to police, the Scorpio vehicle was going towards Markapuram. When the vehicle reached near Viratarajupalem, the driver lost control over the vehicle and hit the tree. PraveenKumar, Ramakrishna and Venkateseh who were travelling in the vehicle serious injured and died on the spot. Kumara Swamy who was injured in the accident has been shifted to the GGH in Guntur city for better treatment.
Vinukonda Sub-Inspector M Subba Rao rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies to the local government hospital for conducting the post-mortem.
Police registered the case and took up investigation.
