Services give self-satisfaction to retired staff: Collector

Eluru: The services rendered to people will give self-satisfaction after retirement, said District Collector R Muthyala Raju. He felicitated 11 officials and employees who retired on Thursday.

The Godavari meeting hall wore a festive look with close relatives of the retired staff who also present to watch the ceremony held on a grand note by the district officials. The District Collector lauded the services of the retired staff members.

Employees would work against all odds while in service and take sweet memories of their services when they retire, he added. He wished the retired staff to spend their time with family members as they had spent a lion's share of their time with colleagues while in service.

Tahsildar Subbi Reddy, senior assistant DN Subba Rao, District Immunization Officer Dr DVV Satyanarayana, deputy paramedical officers GSH Umamaheswara Rao, S Venkateshwara Rao, accountant I Ramachandraraju, typist MV Rama Rao, municipal corporation superintendent KVSRSS Sharma, sub-inspectors DSDA Deekshitulu, SPR Prasad and AR head constable J Nageswararao were felicitated.

Joint Collector N Tej Bharat informed that for five consecutive months they have been organizing felicitation to retiring officials and staff and the programme is a thing of pride for the district.
