South Central Railway GM inspects Guntur-Nandyal division

Guntur: South Central Railway (SCR) general manager Gajanan Mallya accompanied by divisional railway manager V R Bhooma on Sunday inspected the Guntur-Nandyal division.He started his inspection from Guntur city and conducted detailed inspection covering passenger amenities available in the railway station, inspected food stalls, waiting halls, booking office, divyang facilities, station master's office and circulating area.

He inaugurated newly constructed Type-3 staff quarters near Guntur railway station. He also inspected the progress of works of construction of railway hospital. During the inspection, the GM handed over the new trolley bags to guards for easy mobility during the course of duty.

He also handed over the wielding tool kits to the welders and raincoats to the signalling staff of Guntur division to ease their work on tracks. Later, he conducted rear window inspection between Nallapadu- Nandyal section to check the track condition.

He inspected the RUB works between Guntur Nandyal section, railway hospital at Donakonda railway station. He planted saplings at Donakonda railway station. He inspected doubling works between Guntur and Nandyal section and level crossing gate between Guntur and Nandyal section and enquired about the safety aspects and procedures followed by gateman.
