The South Central Railway achieved highest recognition at national-level by bagging four All-India Performance Efficiency Shields (AIPE) at the 64th Railway Week Awards function held at NCPA Auditorium in Mumbai on July 30.

Vijayawada: The South Central Railway achieved highest recognition at national-level by bagging four All-India Performance Efficiency Shields (AIPE) at the 64th Railway Week Awards function held at NCPA Auditorium in Mumbai on July 30.

The SCR has shown exemplary performance in various spheres of activity during the last financial year and bagged the All-India Performance Efficiency shields for Traffic Transportation, Personnel Management, Civil Engineering and Stores Departments. These shields were presented by Vinod Kumar Yadav, Chairman of Railway Board during a function.

K Siva Prasad, Principal Chief Operations Manager received Traffic Transportation shied, N V Ramana Reddy, Principal Chief Personnel Officer received Personnel Management shield, V R Mishra, Principal Chief Material Manager received the Stores Shield and K Shiva Prasad, Principal Chief Engineer received Engineering shield from Vinod Kumar Yadav.

Three officers of SCR-- V Anjaneyulu, Senior Divisional Operations Manager, Vijayawada Division, N Manoj, Senior Divisional Operations Manager, Secunderabad Division, A Koteshwara Rao, Senior Divisional Electrical Engineer, Secunderabad Division-- and three staff of the Zone-- Sanjeet Kumar, Track Maintainer, G V S Raju, Technician and J Kishore, Junior Engineer-- received individual awards from Vinod Kumar Yadav for their outstanding performance.

On this occasion, John Thomas, Additional General Manager, SCR appreciated the efforts of officers and staff of South Central Railway for their dedication and hard work in attaining the outstanding results amongst the all the zones in Indian Railways.

The AGM expressed his happiness over bagging the highest number of performance efficiency shields in various disciplines. He also congratulated the staff and officers bestowed with individual awards and appreciated their exemplary performance.
