Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy Brahmotsavam Celebrations in Vontimitta

After conduction of special rituals such as Punyavachanam , and Navagraha dhyanam, the processional deities of Lord Rama and his consort Goddess Sita we're ceremoniously mounted atop The big Chariot amidst chanting of Vedic hymns by the temple pundits.
Thousands of devotees from surrounding villages participated in the Devine procession. Devotees congregated all along Mada streets through which procession passed by.
The Chariot was decorated with different varieties of flowers flags and festoons. As is customary, the golden umbrella tied up top of the Chariot.
The chanting of 'Jai Sri Ram' Seethamathaku Jai, by the devotees filled the air.
The Chariot rolled majestically in to the streets of Vontimitta village till evening.
