Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is determined to promote quality of education, says Tammineni Sitaram

Srikakulam: Entire education system would be revamped in the State in coming days and it will be improved on a par with corporate education, said Assembly Speaker Thammineni Seetharam here on Thursday.

He was laying the foundation stone for construction of junior college building at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) campus at Lolugu village under Ponduru mandal in the district. Speaking on the occasion, the Speaker lauded services of former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy in improving the education system. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy

is taking forward the task to improve the quality of education. As part of it AmmaVodi, Vidya Divena, Jagananna Gorumudda, Jagananna Vasathi Divena, and fee reimbursement are being implemented in the State, he said.

The Junior college would be started soon on KGBV campus to provide intermediate education to girl students from poor families. The building is constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 1.60 crore.
