State to resolve sand problem soon: Vellampali Srinivas

Vizianagaram: The scarcity of sand has badly affected the realty and its allied sectors, but the government will bring the situation under control soon, stated district in-charge minister Vellampali Srinivas.

Inaugurating a property show organised by National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO) and Union Ministry of Urban Development in Vizianagaram city, he said due to heavy water flow in rivers and streams, the availability of sand has come down. But within a few days, the issue will be resolved, said Vellampali Srinivas.

He stated the government would help the realty sector in all aspects but at the same time the builders also should cooperate with customers by extending their good services. Around 40 stalls were erected by the various real estate companies and explained the customers about their ventures and amenities provided in flats. MP B Chandrasekhar said that the expos were helpful to customers.
