Student from Tadipatri jumped to death from college building in Punjab

An engineering student hailing from Tadipatri in Andhra Pradesh committed suicide in the hostel room in Punjab on Saturday.

Bharath, a native of CPI colony in Tadipatri was pursuing engineering fourth year at Lovely Professional University in ECE stream. Bharath who had taken the exams recently was learned to have depressed over getting a low grade. In a suicide note recovered from him, he said that he does not have any love affairs.

He also advised the students in the note not to stay alone in the hostel room as it could lead to getting suicidal thoughts.

The varsity management informed Bharath's parents that their son jumped from the college building and died. The police registered a case and launched an investigation.
