Sudden showers brought respite to Visakhapatnam people in Andhra Pradesh

Sudden showers accompanied by cool breeze brought respite to people of Visakhapatnam from sizzling heat on Thursday. Though the rain did not last for long, the change in the weather conditions provided a cool effect, especially for those who have to spend long hours outdoors most part of the day.

On the other hand, the Indian meteorological department has announced that heavy rains likely over several parts in Andhra Pradesh in next two days. The Amravati Meteorological Center said that in many parts of Rayalaseema, there will be thunderstorms including in Guntur and Prakasam districts.

Weather forecasters have warned coastal residents to remain vigilant as heavy rains are likely to continue as the southwest monsoon has hit Kerala and which will hit Andhra Pradesh in next three days.
