Nellore: Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu who addressed the public at Sullurpet said that they would make the area similar to Shenzhen in China which witnessed huge industrial development. As he was behind the schedule for more than two hours he finished the speech fast directly asking the participants for their support in the ensuing elections. He also assured that he would make the Pulicat area as an International Tourism Destination with all amenities if he comes to power.

Chandrababu said they had started many industries in the region for generating avenues for local youth that automatically triggers local development in many spheres. He said they are going to give Rs. 3,000 pension, dues of farmers and also preparing plans for local development.

He said they had sanctioned Rs. 48 cr for clearing sea mouths at the Bay in the area, and also quality water supply to the people. He also said they would construct a bridge on Swarna-Mukhi River. He said they had taken a decision to construct urban housing at free of cost. He asked them to junk the opposition, YSR Congress, as they had an undisclosed pact with the TRS.

He said they had faced black days due to the sudden bifurcation of the state and still they have to get power dues of Rs. 5,000 Cr, Rs. 1 lakh crores of share in revenue. He said they had also focused on the welfare of employees whom 43 pc of fitment and 20 pc of Interim Relief to them.

"There are 31 cases against opposition leader Jagan and there is no leader in the entire country whom against such huge number of cases were booked. We want only development irrespective of caste and religion, and we link all rivers in the state and River Pennar is getting water even from Mighty Godavari," he said. MP Candidate Panabaka Lakshmi, MLA candidate Dr Parasa Ratnam, and TTD member Venati Ramachandra Reddy and others were present.
