Nellore: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu focused on criticizing the opposition at Atmakur meeting besides listing the local issues. He also said people have to vote for local TDP candidates for getting water for irrigation and drinking purposes. He addressed at public meeting in Atmakur on Wednesday and said the district has been witnessing drought conditions for last two-three years and still farmers yielded good crop this year.
"I have shifted 48 tmc of water to Somasila reservoir and local farmers were happy who cultivated even paddy last year. You first decide yourselves not to vote for Kodikathi party (YSR Congress) and then enjoy all benefits. Jagan says no to Pattiseema, Polavaram and many others and approaches Courts to stop works. Still, we gave abundant water to his constituency Pulivendula and make it No.1 constituency in the region," assured Chandrababu.
He said the local population of Pulivendula are very friendly and seems Jagan is different from them. CM said relatives of Jagan introduced JST (Jagan Tax) similar to GST (Gabbar Singh Tax) of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said they would provide all amenities to Atmakur area. Chandrababu said he would make Nellore like Hyderabad.
He said there is 1,000 km long seacoast which is an asset for development of the region and a proposed beach road from Tada to Ichapuram would make the region a jewel in the crown for development of industries. He assured that they would bring water from Nagarjuna Sagar to Somasila project for storage of huge water in future and insisted to voter for Telugu Desam for unexpected progress.
"You elected only 3 persons from our party during last elections. Still, I have allocated more funds and developed the region. But, it is your responsibility to support me for future development. West Godavari district gave full majority to me. You have to support me for peace of mind and would focus on progress of your area," said the chief minister.
Taking pot shots at the TS Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Reddy, Chandrababu said they scolded them as dogs, useless fellows, vultures, decoits, and even traitors of Telangana. He asked was his sin to develop Hyderabad as a dream city and dared to develop 10 such 'Golden Goose' cities in Andhra Pradesh.
He also directly attacked YSR Congress Nellore Lok Sabha candidate Adala Prabhakara Reddy defining him as a cheater who shifted his loyalties after completing his works. He was like a bridegroom who escaped from the marriage hall whom the TDP declared as candidate for rural assembly constituency.
He wondered why these people are getting attracted to a criminal who involved in finance related cases who has been supported by PM Modi. He said the Prime Minister had devastated the financial system in the country and also democracy. Chandrababu defined Modi as a modern dictator who always says lies even as Mahatma from Gujarat committed for Ahimsa and Satya.
Further, Chandrababu assured to build a bridge on river Penna in Anantasagaram mandal for storing water. He said if the people more water, they have to vote for Telugu Desam. Local LS candidate Beeda Mastan Rao, assembly candidate B Krishnaiah and other local leaders were present.
