Deputy Chief Minister Alla Nani has said talent is the only criteria in filling posts of village secretariats which will function from October 2.
Eluru: Deputy Chief Minister Alla Nani has said talent is the only criteria in filling posts of village secretariats which will function from October 2. He made it clear that no recommendation would be entertained while making the appointments. He told this to a group of youth who met him over the jobs at his camp office on Monday.
Nani said that the government will fill 8,308 posts in village secretariats in the district through a district-level selection committee. All the recruitments will be made in a transparent manner and there is no room for any recommendation.
He said that the government has already appointed 16,330 village volunteer and 4,256 ward volunteers in the district to bring the government schemes to the doorsteps of people. For every 50 families one volunteer was appointed, he added.
