TDP demands Jagan's unconditional apology to Chandrababu Naidu, Lokesh, Adinarayana
The TDP demanded that YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy tender unconditional apology to its national president and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, general secretary N Lokesh and senior leader C Adinarayana Reddy, in connection with the murder of Y S Vivekananda Reddy.
Amaravati: The TDP demanded that YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy tender unconditional apology to its national president and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, general secretary N Lokesh and senior leader C Adinarayana Reddy, in connection with the murder of Y S Vivekananda Reddy.
TDP spokesman Varla Ramaiah advised Jagan to stop politicising his uncle Vivekananda Reddy's murder as requested by Viveka's daughter Suneethamma.
Addressing a press conference at Praja Vedika at Undavalli on Wednesday, Ramaiah pointed out that Suneethamma had placed complete trust in AP Police and the Special Investigation Team which is currently investigating into the sensational political murder.
Ramaiah asked Jagan whether he didn't realise that he was making himself a joker by implicating TDP leaders including Chandrababu Naidu, N Lokesh and C Adinarayana Reddy in the murder of his paternal uncle Y S Vivekananda Reddy.
He demanded that Jagan should tender unconditional apology to the TDP and take an oath not to aim at political gains out of murders any more. The TDP spokesperson further said that Jagan should hang his head in shame as his own sister Suneethamma asked him to stop politicising Viveka's murder and said there was no need for a CBI investigation.
By taking this murder issue to the Governor, Jagan became a laughing stock just as in the cockfight knife (popularly known as Kodi Kathi) case in which the AP police were proved right even in the investigation by the National Investigation Agency, he added.
Ramaiah said that Jagan went to the Governor with the demand for CBI investigation only for the sake of sympathy surrounding Viveka murder and get votes for YSRCP candidates.
Similar attempt to take electoral advantage out of his father Y S Rajasekhara Reddy's death led to the miserable defeat of Jagan in 2014 elections, he pointed out.
He cautioned voters that if Jagan was given one chance in the present election, he will totally ruin the entire State. The TDP leader recalled that Jagan had earlier insulted AP police on several occasions.
