TDP leaders served notices for explanation on privilege motion issued in the Andhra Assembly

The Andhra Pradesh Assembly Privilege Committee, which met on Wednesday has said that they have decided to protect the rights of every member of the Assembly. The committee chairman Kakani Govardhan Reddy told the media that they have inquired about the privilege motion issued against TDP MLAs Atchennaidu and Nimmala Ramanaidu in the recent assembly sessions. He said that the committee has given ten days time for their explanation. It is known that MLAs Jogi Ramesh and Srikanth Reddy have given Privilege Motion against Atchennaidu in connection with the allegations made against the speaker.
Kakani said that they have referred the issue of Nimmala Ramanaidu based on a resolution passed in the House. He said the committee had discussed the matter and sought clarification and added that only four issues had come up for discussion and were being investigated. Committee members Shilpa Chakrapani Reddy, Malladi Vishnu and Chinappalanaiudu participated in the meeting.
The committee is probing the Privilege Motion given in the Assembly recently against TDP MLAs Atchennaidu and Nimmala Ramanaidu and ruled out the allegations that TDP complaints had not investigated. Those members also agreed with their decision. The committee opined that the complaints of TDP members were brought to their notice and said that they would inquire whenever the speaker of assembly refers to them.
