TDP will form the government, affirms CM Naidu
- Party will win 120 seats
Kurnool : Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu infusing confidence among the contestants and party leaders has affirmed that Telugu Desam, once again will form the government and no one can stop it. Naidu with full confidence has said that the party will win 120 seats. He said do not believe in rumors that are making rounds. Naidu on his way to Raichur in Karnataka state to participate in election campaign had a brief stay in Kurnool Rock Garden Haritha Vanamon Friday.
The Chief Minister has exchanged a couple of discussions with the contested candidates and party leaders. During the course of discussion, Naidu first inquired about the voting process and attacks on the leaders and party workers taken places across the district. He also asked about the storage of EVMs and the security at the strong rooms. While Naidu was inquiring about the problems and the issues if any some of the contested candidates bringing to his notice siad, voters are very happy and are having favourable results.
Several people are betting huge amounts on the victory of Telugu Desam party.
Reacting to betting, Naidu said do not believe in rumors. We have our own strength and on knowing about party's thumping majority at this election people may be talking like that. We should not heed them, adding he said TD will definitely form the government.
Due to election code is in force, I may not be able to direct to take up the things, instead he ordered the party leaders to know the problems and resolve them. He said heat waves are prevailing in high and the district would be facing drinking water problems. Naidu directing the party leaders said to resolve the water problems.
For a while the Chief Minister spoke to Deputy Chief Minister, KE Krishna Murthy and with Kotla Jaya Surya Prakash Reddy, the Kurnool Parliament contestant and gave some suggestions to follow. Except, Nandyal, Kurnool, Pathikonda and Srisailam MLA candidate all attended the meeting.
Deputy Chief Minister, KE Krishna Murthy said, last election we had won only seats but this time we will sweep. With the words of KE, Naidu expressed happiness and said the contestants to be strong.
Later, the Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu flew to Raichur to participate in election campaign.
