Tension continues in Shantipuram of Kuppam amid altercation between police and TDP cadre

Tension gripped once again in Gaddur of Shantipuram mandal of the Chittoor district ahead of Chandrababu's visit to Kuppam after police stopped TDP leaders who were going to welcome TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu saying that Chandrababu Naidu's Roadshow and Assembly has no permission.

Against this backdrop, an argument took place between the police and TDP cadre. TDP leaders who are furious with the police chanted slogans against CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The TDP workers raised the police barricades and started protesting.

Chandrababu will tour Kuppam for three days and the road show is scheduled to start from Peddur in Shantipuram Mandal shortly. But due to some recent incidents, the government has banned rallies and road shows. Officials said that notices have also been given to the in-charge of TDP Kuppam office in this regard. A little while ago, the police called the in-charge of the TDP office at Kuppam and asked him to give a written statement that he will act according to the GO.

The police warned that the vehicles of the campaign chariots will be seized if they see Mike. The police stopped the vehicles when they saw them near Palamaneru. It remains to be seen whether Chandrababu will hold a rally or he will follow the police rules.
