Tirupati: APSRTC services to Bengaluru begin
- Registration with Seva Sindhu of Govt of Karnataka is must for travel and the passengers have to bring acknowledgement (proof) for registering with them to travel in the bus
- In the self- registration form on the portal, the passenger should enter his personal details including Aadhaar number, the bus ticket number, origin of the journey, final destination and also the address where he will stay in Karnataka State

Tirupati: Registration with Karnataka Government Seva Sindhu portal is must for travelling in APSRTC buses to Bengaluru which is resumed from Chittoor district on Wednesday.
As the governments of AP and Karnataka have accorded permission to resume interstate bus operation between the two states, APSRTC Chittoor region on Wednesday began its bus service to Bengaluru.
To begin with the region is operating 30 buses from various places in Chittoor district to Bengaluru. They include 13 buses from Tirupati, 2 from Srikalahasti, 2 from Puttur, 10 from Chittoor, 2 from Madanapalli and 1 from Piler, according to Regional Manager T Chengal Reddy.
Reddy said that the passengers after booking the ticket should register with Karnataka government `Seva Sindhu" portal and get the self-registration acknowledgement for producing it to travel in APSRTC buses to Karnataka state.
In the self- registration form on the portal, the passenger should enter his personal details including Aadhaar number, the bus ticket number, origin of the journey, final destination and also the address where he will stay in Karnataka state. Besides, he should also furnish in the form his health status disclosing that he is not suffering from cold, cough, fever or sore throat and also not feeling any difficulty in breathing, the symptoms of Covid-19.
Regional Manager said that the travel is from bus stand to bus stand in the sense that the passengers have to board the bus only in the bus stand (origin) starting point and get down at the final destination.
Similarly, KSRTC also began their bus service with 30 buses from Bengaluru to various towns in Chittoor district.
